Hey, guys! Hope you’re having a great week so far. Today I’m taking you to a lovely home tour in Sweden. However, we won’t enjoy the typical gorgeous Scandinavian decor. I’ll show you an amazing ethnic chic duplex apartment with a peaceful and serene earth color palette.
This beautiful home is part of an old factory, built in 1940 along the lake Mälaren. Twelve years ago, Johanson Linnman Architekter renovated the old building and turned it into lovely apartments with balconies overlooking the lake. Because of the 5-meter ceilings, they decided to convert the place into duplex apartments. Well, they certainly did a great job. I really like the open plan living space. Look how spacious and full of natural light is the first level. The dining area is beautifully connected to the kitchen and the living room looks so airy, yet nice and cosy.
As you can see, the decor of this ethnic chic duplex apartment is absolutely stunning! There are so many beautiful details that captured my eye. Starting with the boho hanging chair in the living room, to the gorgeous rustic table in the dining area and the amazing concrete wall in the kitchen.
The earth color palette makes the place so serene and relaxing. Also, they are plenty of lovely ethnic chic vibes throughout the entire house. As you can see form the beautiful pictures, the two bedrooms and the bathroom have their own ethnic charm too…
One of the cutest spots here is the small and extremely cosy balcony with ethnic chic atmosphere. I can see myself having a hot cup of tea while enjoying the beautiful view over lake Mälaren : )
I truly hope you loved this gorgeous ethnic chic duplex apartment as much as I did : )
