Can you believe, that this romantic French style country farmhouse is located in the peaceful Australian rural village of Trentham? This rustic piece of heaven has been created by Narelle and Andrew Glynn, a lovely couple who once lived in France and fell completely in love with everything French. One day they decided to build a beautiful country retreat that would remind them of France. They bought a half-hectare block in the quite village of Trentham, Victoria and built this elegant French style country farmhouse, named The French house.

As you can see from the beautiful pictures below, the house both inside and outside has been lovingly decorated in French country style. Wooden ceiling beams, beautiful oak floor and so many gorgeous rustic details…. The atmosphere here looks so peaceful and serene and takes you somewhere in the French countryside.

If you’re already dreaming of this place, I have some good news for you! This stunning rustic gem can be rented for a relaxing holiday and can accommodate up to 8 guests. Amazing, right? : ) For more details and beautiful inspiration, check out their web site and follow their social accounts on Facebook and Instagram.

Isn’t this French style country farmhouse one of the most romantic places you’ve ever seen? A piece of heaven, where you can chill out away of the city madness.

This French old barn converted into a beautiful home is another lovely inspiration for you. The owners, Hans and Karen decided to buy an old barn in the French countryside and to convert it into a second home for their family of four. The renovation project was a real challenge for them. However three years later they have a gorgeous home with a lovely rustic decor. Check it out here!
