Happy Saturday, my dear friends! Today was rainy and cold so we preferred to stay at home and chill out with the kids. It’s so hard for me to get used to this gloomy and unfriendly weather. How much I miss the lovely summer! Every year at this time, I desperately want to escape to some warm exotic place where the sun is shining, the people are smiling and everything is so gorgeously beautiful. Somewhere in my beloved Southeast Asia… And today I’m dreaming of Bali. That magical place that I had the great pleasure to visit a few years ago along with my hubby. We can’t wait to take the kiddos there. So I often browse the net for some lovely places where to stay during our next trip to Bali. And look what a dreamy Balinese bamboo eco cottage I found today! It’s nestled in the middle of the rice fields of Ubud and it looks like a hidden gem away of the hustle and bustle of the town.
Last time in Bali we stayed in a super cute hotel in Sanur and we were traveling around the island. We just had a quick stop in Ubud so I couldn’t feel the atmosphere of this lovely place. I really want to spend at least a few days there. Since I’m dreaming of the peaceful green rice fields of Bali I think this bamboo eco cottage would be pretty inspiring for me. As I already mentioned in some of my previous posts, we’re huge camping lovers and we just love sleeping outside in a tent. So this lovely open air bamboo retreat would be a great experience for all four of us : )
The bamboo eco cottage is a woven basket with a traditional Balinese grass roof. It consists of an open air bedroom with mini loft and a stylish Balinese bathroom with outdoor shower. The highlight is for sure the outdoor area. Such a beautiful space where to sit and relax, enjoying the stunning view over the rice fields… What more could I dream for? : )
I found this amazing Balinese bamboo eco cottage on Airbnb. There are so many incredible places (at affordable prices!) listed here, so we can’t wait to book the accommodation for our next Southeast Asian trip via Airbnb.
