Fairytale Christmas decor in a beautiful Dutch cottage in Friesland

There is only one week until Christmas holidays! And I guess everyone is already enjoying the most magical Xmas atmosphere at home : ) This lovely Dutch cottage, built in 1890 in Friesland is no exception. The owners, interior designer Mariëlla Houtsma and her loved one, have created such a fairytale Christmas decor.

I fell in love at first sight with every part of this charming cottage. I really like how the beautiful natural items around the house give such a warm and homey feeling to the place. The soft white, grey and pink color pallet makes the place so peaceful and serene. The knitted accessories (knitted stool, rug and blankets) bring such a wonderful winter vibe to the space. Actually they were lovingly created by talented Mariëlla : )
