The beautiful Spanish islands of Ibiza and Formentera have always been such a great source of inspiration for me. So far, I’ve shared with you plenty of stunning holiday retreats on both islands, and today I’m happy to show you another dreamy vacation spot. The Ibiza Campo House is a lovely 200-year old finca, converted into a family holiday home. The adorable 45 m2 tiny summer house belongs to interior architect Jurjen van Hulzen from Dutch architecture firm Standard Studio, his wife Selina and their gorgeous three kids.
A dreamy tiny summer house on Ibiza
This hidden gem is located in the peaceful, less touristy area in the Morna Valey, in the North of Ibiza. It is surrounded by 2 hectares of land, and has such a beautiful and serene atmosphere.
To keep the authentic look of the building, the owners managed to preserve the original ceiling beams and the gorgeous stone walls in the kitchen and bathroom. They decided to use only materials, traditionally used on Ibiza, such as concrete, white chalk plastered stone walls and iroko window frames.
The decor of this Spanish tiny summer house is absolutely fabulous. A lovely mix of old and new, rustic and elegant. In fact, the family turned out this piece of heaven into a guesthouse and showroom for the new business, Ibiza Interiors, which they launched on the island. One of the best features of this Spanish oasis is the swimming pool, offering absolutely breathtaking views of the surroundings. There is also a yoga platform, plenty of fruit trees and a lovely vegetable garden. Ahhh, this is pure heaven!
